Tarot/Oracle Challenge #10 most unusual or unique deck

It really is trying to commune with the bigger unknown, not just seeking guidance for a problem.

12/10 your most unusual or unique deck

這是參加#DecDivination的挑戰活動,今日主題 12/10: 最特別的牌

I’m going to continue with the deck shared in the animal deck challenge and say my most unusual deck is the Sidhe Oracle.

The authors started with creating just one deck, The Sidhe Oracle of the Moon. And they thought that was it.

Then another message came from the sidhe to create another, then another, then another. Each time they were a collection of its own, but gradually the authors got the message that the four are meant to work together in the future.

In sequence, these four decks are: (89 cards in total):

  • The Sidhe Oracle of the Moon
  • The Sidhe Oracle of the Fleeting Hare
  • The Sidhe Oracle of the Flowing Waters
  • The Sidhe Oracle of the Glorious Sun

I think the way it’s unique is that this deck becomes sort of a tool for meditation and communion. While that’s true for oracle cards in general, I feel this deck is less applicable to guiding life decisions and individual matters like how we’ve come to use oracle cards. It really is trying to commune with the bigger unknown, not just seeking guidance for a problem.

The artwork is also haunting and unworldly, especially the Oralce of the Moon. It brings forth a cosmic connection that actually brought tears to me on one of my lighter first readings. I believe there is a lot to explore if the weird structure resulting in 89 cards with 4 different backings is okay for you.
