December Tarot Challenge #DecDivination challenge by @alex242505
12/13 Your favorite deck for love/relationship readings
這是參加#DecDivination的挑戰活動,今日主題 12/13:算愛情的愛用牌
The Goddess Oracle is an empowering yet gentle deck. It’s one of the first decks I got for myself when I just started on the pagan and spiritual path.
I like this deck for relationships because with the demons energy, it speaks to the emotional realm really well, and can additionally inform the heart, physical and mental space. That means the wisdom from the wide variety of goddesses can be applied to how we think and process ideas, our gut feelings, and also emotions and feelings.
Each card comes with a short summary or one angle of the goddess’s lore, and while not comprehensive, I trust the creators to capture aspects to make the whole deck cover all sorts of human experience. There’s the tough, unbridled Maeve, there’s the more ethereal Sophia, and there’s even the Chinese creator Nugua to represent structure.
They are all supportive, but some more objective than others, some more gentle than others, some more spiritual than practical, the spectrum runs really wide as a whole. This is the reason I feel taken care of and really trusting of the deck.
Therefore, for love relationships, I can trust the reading to tell me when I should connect and when to be independent, when to focus on the whole versus myself, when to heal versus fight, when to think versus feel or to access my inner knowing, all kinds of situations.
Another example is for other relationships. There are of course cards I draw a lot in readings for myself, but once when I sought guidance on how to support a friend, I got a few cards that rarely showed up in past readings. From there, it helped my anchor myself and know what to do and what kind of support to be, believing the reading an objective advice from the goddesses, rather than from my emotional ego.
